Hawkesbury, September 19th, 2012 – The Employment Services Centre proudly announced today that it signed a sponsorship agreement with the Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation for its' prestigious Celebration of Excellence Awards 2013. This contest aims at honoring the quality of local companies for their contribution to the regional economy. Under the theme "Celebrating our Success", the awards for this 11th edition will be presented during a prestigious evening held Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at the Caledonia Centre in St-Bernardin. During this evening, the CSEPR will proudly present the Emeritus Award to the winner chosen by the Organizing Committee. This prestigious prize outlines the career of an entrepreneur or an individual in the Prescott region who, through his passion and his contribution, has left his mark in the regional business community.

"We felt it necessary that the Centre be part of this major event" says André Roy, General Manager of CSEPR. "That is, in addition to the contribution of larger companies to the region, we couldn't miss this opportunity to contribute in the emphasizing of excellence of small and medium regional businesses. Those same companies who contribute in an important way to the regional economy, but who also ensure our workers get jobs in their own localities. And, what can we say about the actual award", added Mr. Roy. "Without the input of passionate entrepreneurs, there couldn't be the regional dynamism we know which ensures economic growth, and thus, the sustainability of our towns and villages."

The Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation will attribute during their Awards Celebration Evening held next May, fifteen awards to local businesses who have distinguished themselves throughout the community. Nominations are presently opened and can be submitted by the owner, an employee, a local business group, a financial institution or even an individual living in the Prescott-Russell community. To do so, one can visit the website dedicated to the Celebration (www.galaexcellence.com) and fill out and return the appropriate forms to the Organizing Committee no later than Friday, November 2nd, 2012.
