Hawkesbury, May 14th, 2015 – The Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) is proud to announce its support of future Prescott-Russell young entrepreneurs through signing an agreement with the Entrepreneurial Academy of Prescott-Russell for their Youth Enterprise Camp. Along with financial support, the CSEPR will lead supper-seminars during two camps scheduled in the program. The Youth Enterprise Camp will be held from June 28th to August 22nd, 2015 at the Alfred Campus, and seminars given by the Centre will be presented to 9th to 12th grade day campers attending June 28th to July 11th and August 9th to 22nd day camps.

“We believe that this day camp project is a great initiative launched by the Entrepreneurial Academy. Not only does it allow young people to learn theoretical and practical business procedures in a professional and entertaining environment, it also allows for training of a new business succession which is  so important to our region,” said André Roy, Executive Director for the Employment Services Centre. “The Centre, along with offering financial support to the project, will also supply the services of an employment counsellor who will give a seminar on how to extract key information from résumés,  to budding entrepreneurs taking part in the camps. As we know, a business is comprised of many important aspects, and knowing how to choose good employees is certainly a key component to success. Knowing how to interpret the information contained in a résumé is thus more important for identifying potential candidates who have the skills and experience to fill specific positions,” concluded Mr. Roy.

The Entrepreneurial Academy of Prescott-Russell offers coaching and mentoring as well as training programs to provide support for kick-starting a business and for implementing innovative ideas to existing businesses to the region’s entrepreneurs. As for the CSEPR, it offers free daily support to local businesses in regards to their employment needs. Its programs and services to employers include hiring support, job posting, advice and guidance towards resources to meet with their employment needs, organizing of recruitment days, wage and training subsidies and hiring incentives, as well as job matching between employers and candidates. The Centre also offers regional employers free access to fully-equipped conference room and office space for their recruiting activities as well as the services of a placement agency.

Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) is a non for profit organisation with 3 offices serving the vast region of Prescott-Russell.
